Peyton Ryba
Graduate Student
Peyton is a second-year graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at the University of South Carolina. She graduated from Ohio University in May 2023 where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology. In her future career, Peyton is interested in working with pediatric clients- specifically those with hearing differences.
Helena Corda
Graduate Student
Helena is a second-year graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at the University of South Carolina. She graduated in May of 2023 from Michigan State University with majors in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Psychology. In the future, she hopes to work with the adult population in a hospital or rehabilitation setting. She is excited to grow her clinical experiences in the graduate program and looks forward to getting more involved in the lab by building connections with everyone!
Kira Cooley
Graduate Student
Kira is a second-year graduate student in the speech-language pathology master’s program here at the University of South Carolina. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in May of 2023, where she received her degree in speech and hearing sciences. She is excited to take part in the lab this year.
Emma Neuhauser
Graduate Student
Emma is a second-year graduate student at USC in the speech-language pathology master’s program. She graduated from Miami University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and audiology with minors in ASD and Special Education. In the future, Emma is excited to work with children with disabilities who use AAC devices!
Wesley Kephart
Graduate Student
Wesley is a first-year graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at the University of South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in May of 2024 with a degree in Communication Science and Disorders. In the future, Wesley hopes to pursue a career in voice disorders and get his PhD! He is looking forward to building connections with his peers and being a part of the lab!
Olivia Battaglia
Graduate Student
Olivia is a first-year graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at the University of South Carolina. She graduated from Purdue University in May 2024 earning a Bachelor of Science in speech, language, and hearing sciences. She is excited to gain more experience in a research lab and a clinical setting at the University of South Carolina!
Miranda Dunkin

Miranda is a first-year graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at the University of South Carolina. She graduated from USC in December of 2023 with a degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She is excited to grow in her knowledge of the field and gain insightful research experience.

Elizabeth is a first-year student graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at USC. She graduated from Butler University in May 2024 with a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. She is excited to gain more research experience and make connections in the lab!
Caroline Turknett

Caroline is a first-year graduate student in the Speech-Language Pathology Master’s program at USC. She graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders. She hope to work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder/Fragile X, and she excited to gain more research experience and knowledge about this population!
