Mothers of Typically-Developing Individuals
We are currently recruiting women who do not have family histories of fragile X syndrome to participate in our research. For most of our studies, we are focused on women who are biological mothers and whose children do not have disabilities. The overarching goal of this research is to understand how genetic factors related to the FMR1 gene influence aging, and how aging differs across mothers who do and do not have children with disabilities. We have included flyers below of each study for further reference.
