Dr. Klusek, Dr. Friedman, and Veronica traveled to Washington, DC, on February 26th and 27th. Dr. Laura Friedman and Dr. Jessica Klusek published a study on vocal quality within women with the FMR1 premutation. Vocal quality is an indicator of motor function, as voice is controlled by the coordination of many muscles in the face, neck, and abdomen.
