The 21st National Fragile X Foundation (NFXF) Advocacy Day was held in Washington D.C. from February 24-February 25, 2025, where research labs from the University of South Carolina joined families, self-advocates, doctors, and other researchers from all over the nation to show support for the Fragile X community. Dr. Jessica Klusek and Dr. Lauren Jenner from the SC Family Study Lab traveled to this annual conference to connect with the community and share the ongoing research the lab is conducting to better understand and support individuals and families affected by Fragile X-associated conditions. Their participation highlights the lab’s commitment to translating research into meaningful advocacy and improving access to resources, services, and interventions for the Fragile X community!
